About Control Investigation

A graduate of the École de Guerre Économique (EGE) in 2014, I worked for more than ten years within leading competitive-intelligence firms.

Over those years, I carried out assignments across the full spectrum of competitive intelligence: investigations, due diligence, fraud prevention, monitoring, influence, reputation and vulnerability audits. I supported companies of all sizes as well as law firms, in France and internationally.

Then, in 2025, I created my own structure: Control Investigation.

Alongside my consulting work, I regularly teach at companies and higher-education institutions — notably the EGE campuses in Paris and Rabat, EPITA, École Hexagone and ESARP.

Since 2020, I have also co-organised the OSINT 317 Challenge, an annual competition for government agencies, several editions of which have been held at the InCyber Forum. I also coordinate the AEGE OSINT & Monitoring Club and publish regularly on the methods, practices and developments of open-source intelligence, including in the latest edition of the Manuel de l'intelligence économique.

After ten years' experience in intelligence firms, I wanted to create my own structure and personally handle every case.

Control Investigation's mission is simple: to reduce uncertainty by turning available information into actionable intelligence.

A company, an executive, a business partner or a competitive environment all leave behind a multitude of traces. The challenge is not to accumulate information, but to identify what is relevant, verify it, cross-check it and give it meaning in order to inform a decision.

The word "Control" points precisely to this idea of mastery: mastery of information, understanding of one's environment, and the ability to decide on the basis of established facts rather than assumptions. With a passing nod to John le Carré and Joy Division.
